Maxon One 2024 winter update
Maxon has released updates to its Maxon One suite, introducing new features to Cinema 4D, Redshift, ZBrush, ZBrush for iPad, and Red Giant.
Cinema 4D 2025.1 introduces a new Boolean generator for creating complex animated shapes with improved speed and precision. Improvements to particle behavior and GPU-accelerated simulations offer greater flexibility, while quality-of-life improvements, such as better USD import/export and XRef performance, improve collaboration. Interactive tutorials in the Learning Panel aim to simplify the learning curve for users.
ZBrush for iPad now includes GoZ technology for transferring creations between devices and desktop platforms like Cinema 4D and Maya. The iPad version also offers features such as UV and texture mapping, surface noise tools, and optimized Apple Pencil Pro support. On the desktop, ZBrush adds features like Redshift rendering improvements and a Bend mode for its Anchor Brush, allowing users to pose characters more easily.
Redshift 2025.2 improves Toon rendering, denoising, and cross-platform workflows. Integration with tools like Cinema 4D and ZBrush continues to improve, offering capabilities such as the Random Material Switch for MoGraph clones and enhanced support for Adobe Substance.
Red Giant updates in Maxon Studio and Universe bring customizable After Effects templates and new Pixel Dither effects, designed to emulate retro gaming visuals and animations. These updates aim to support both professional projects and creative exploration.
