OMG. Is this the end of Epic?
Dont let me come over there and slap you boy! Enough with outlandish comments spare those for the blender boys and Autodesk execs, it’s more fun there.
If anything this can mean better integration between max and ue4 in the future.
…well… Autodesk beta testers know very well what is happening… 😏👍🏻
Isn’t Epic almost as big as whole Autodesk? I doubt that they could play XSI game with them:D
Epic is not a public traded company so revenue is difficult to know reliably.

about 30B, more than Autodesk…
well.. that’s valuation which means wishful thinking.
Autodesk todays value 41.2 Billion US$.
Valuation is based on assumptions. Being private is more fuzzy.
Autodesk is a public company, the market cap is 41.1 B$. (value of all shares at current price)
Epic has a lower market cap than Unity and is small compared to Autodesk.
Epic has no market cap. It is not public traded so there is no market.
quick google shows that Epic has INCOME in billions of dollars, while Unity whole revenue in hundreds of millions….
O h $hit!
This is not bad for Epic, nothing says Epic is being acquired, it’s more alike that Autodesk is looking to boost it’s usage by getting more “noise” in the industry,
Revit users will have free access to Twinmotion, that’s not bad for Revit users, except while Revit is KING, more and more there are studios that are looking alternatives to Revit because it’s closed (SUPER closed) nature, that’s why they asked more serious support to .ifc in detriment to .rvt.
I don0’t thing there is anything wrong with this, just a strategic agreement, more users for Twinmotion, more users and noise for Autodesk, and Autodesk has one of their famous “advantages” saying “Hey! if you use Revit you will have free access to Twinmotion!!!”, nothing bad with that, just in line of Autodesk, minimum effort, maximum marketing, increased ROI to share holders, the less investment on R&D possible.
Regarding what Flavio says, that’s cool and all, but max still does not have Bifrost Graph released for several years already… and that was one of the “things” beta users “knew” that was happening for the future… well, I’m sure it’s happening… but at turtle speed, so anything that is happening… may not be happening until 5 years from now… or more… i’ve been in that position too XD
This is good, it means that Epic gets another permanent revenue stream.
