MaxToC4D is a new plugin for transferring a 3DS Max scene to Cinema 4D with just 2 clicks, solving common import/export problems and optimizing the Max to C4D workflow. The software allows to transfer V-Ray materials (they are converted to C4D standard materials) and some extra info such as Output Resolution, Environment Color/Image/Type, etc. MaxToC4D is currently under development and users are welcome to register to take part in beta testing. More on MaxToC4D’s site.

interesting, i wonder what happens to the stack in max once it’s in C4D..i guess they collapse it down on export..though i’d like control over turbosmooth being turned off maybe as a user global parameter

At the least, you have a way to bring your scenes to C4D, in case Max 2016 and beyond are bad. 🙂

I would like a dynamic link as Rhino IO for C4D

Great, but what about going the other way. C4DToMax.

To be consequent, they should have added “One-Click 3dsMax uninstall” button after the transfer.

This looks cool. Many times a client has asked me to work in C4D. Now I can get all my stuff done in max and say I did.
